Who is Talk n' Surf?
TALK n' SURF is a leading Wireless Internet Service Provider focused on providing Internet connectivity and converged Internet Protocol (IP) services, primarily to rural communities in Kwa Zulu Natal and Mpumalanga. Our wireless connectivity solutions are designed around rural environments, where wired internet and voice communication is not available, or does not offer a stable communication environment at a cost effective price.

Talk n Surf Products

Wireless internet access:
We offer a wireless internet and telephone service as an alternative to traditional fixed line operators. The subscribers are connected to one of our strategically located hi-sites via a specialised wireless transceiver, which is installed at your premises. This is then cabled to a power point in your house and then to your requirements.

The telephone service is via an additional adaptor which allows you to re-use your existing hand set thus reducing capital outlay. Should you require a wireless connection for your computers inside your premises, we can accommodate this by installing a wireless broadband router. ADSL access:
Talk n' Surf ADSL solutions offer customers products ranging from uncapped local and international bandwidth to high-speed 4Mbps capped options and pay per meg for usage only. Each ADSL product comes with a router as an optional extra. We will also apply for your adsl line (must have existing land line number) and we will manage the line if there are any problems via our interface directly into the Telkom network.

Domain Web site and email hosting:
Talk n' Surf offers multiple shared hosting solutions on Microsoft and Linux platforms. The hosting servers are all hosted in the Talk n' Surf data centre in Gateway. All solutions include unique File Transfer Protocol (FTP) access to website folders, giving you full control over your site. Database administrators are provided with unique passwords. All websites and databases are included on shared daily backups. Our infrastructure is designed to scale up as your business grows.
